The Playtape was a fun little audio cartridge system that existed for a short period of time during the 8-track era.     These tiny little 2 track cartridges usually contained four songs.     The idea was portability.     The small battery operated players were supposed to be that era's equivalent of today's Discman.   The idea didn't exactly catch fire with consumers.   But before the demise of the Playtape, lots of great rock, pop and various other music was released.   I'm always interested in purchasing both Playtapes and equipment.   Contact me if you have anything for sale or trade.   Thanks!
